I have worked with start-ups and growing companies over many years, helping them grow and become more successful, whether that be identifying and / or introducing new opportunities, building and sustaining relationships with existing clients and devising other plans for boosting profits and market share. This often includes detailed research, identifying thought leadership areas and growth opportunities, mentoring members of staff and managing growth projects and marketing and PR activities.
Many describe my networking skills as “legendary”. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, tapping into their enthusiasms and talents and seeing possibilities for connection and collaboration. This has led to my brokering deals between parties that have proved to be very useful to one another, and being able to source the right person or company for a particular project or need.
I have devised and worked as part of teams over the years to create and deliver events as diverse as targetted roundtables to larger events such as the one that saw many Lloyd’s of London companies drive 15 2CV cars from London to Monte Carlo to raise money for worthy charities. This included negotiations in French with Monte Carlo providers and stakeholders.
Research is time consuming but extremely valuable, especially if it is done thoroughly. Over the years I have worked with clients on sourcing key market updates, providing news bulletins or other regular updates on specific and sometimes very niche topics, and carrying out background research prior to writing content.
I have been responsible for raising significant amounts for charities, whether through marketing and outreach projects, or through directly connecting sponsors to organisations and events.
My work includes sourcing funding for the third sector, through to working with luxury goods and services companies in securing them sponsorship of high-profile events. I also help smaller companies with sponsorships and funding.
